Speech pathology involves the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders across the lifespan.
Communication therapy aims to increase the individual’s participation in the activities of daily living while swallowing therapy sims to increase the client’s safety and comfort during eating and drinking.
